Frequently asked questions
Yes. Large discounted packages such as 24-class or 48-class programs can be paid in two installments for convenience.
However, the second payment must be made within one month of the first.
If the second payment is not received by the agreed deadline, all classes will be paused or canceled immediately.
Please note:
Paying half does not entitle you to receive half the classes.
These packages are offered at a discounted rate based on a commitment to the full number of classes.
The package is valid only when both payments are made as scheduled.
Students can request a new day or time, but it must fit the teacher’s existing schedule and current student load.
In case of emergencies or illness, Music Home may assign a substitute teacher to ensure continuity. If that happens:
Parents will be informed promptly.
Every effort will be made to provide a smooth and high-quality experience.
Any class canceled by Music Home will either be rescheduled or added to the end of the package.
Please note: Teacher or operational issues are not valid reasons for refunds. Refunds are not issued as long as classes are rescheduled or compensated appropriately.
Classes must be canceled at least 4 hours before the scheduled time.
Cancellations made less than 4 hours in advance will be marked as completed and non-refundable.
Students have 20 days from their last attended class to finish any remaining sessions.
After 20 days, unused classes will be automatically forfeited.
Pause Policy:
Professional and VIP packages: May be paused for up to 3 months.
Basic and Premium packages: May be paused for up to 1 week.
After these limits, remaining sessions are considered forfeited unless previously agreed upon.
You’ll receive a reminder message before each class — please confirm your attendance.
If no confirmation is received, the teacher will still attend as scheduled.
Teachers may arrive within 15 minutes of the scheduled time due to traffic. The full class will still be given.
If delayed more than 15 minutes, you’ll be notified. You can cancel the class at no cost, and it will be rescheduled.
Classes start exactly at the scheduled time, when the teacher is seated at the piano.
Please be ready on time to avoid delays — teachers often have back-to-back lessons. Punctuality helps maintain a smooth daily schedule for everyone.
To keep your current time slot, package renewals must be completed within 24 hours after the last class.
After 24 hours, the slot will be released and may no longer be available.
If you renew later, a new schedule will be offered based on the teacher’s availability at that time.
All class slots are reserved only after payment is completed, and no classes will be given without prior payment.
⏰ Cancellation & Rescheduling
You can cancel or reschedule your class up to 4 hours before the scheduled time.
Cancellations made less than 4 hours before the lesson cannot be rescheduled and will be counted as completed.
For morning classes (9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.), please cancel the day before (before 9:00 p.m.) so we can make the necessary arrangements.
🚗 Teacher Arrival & Delays
Teachers may arrive within 15 minutes of the scheduled time due to traffic.
If the teacher is delayed beyond 15 minutes, we’ll notify you immediately — and the class will be rescheduled or added at the end of your package, so you’ll never lose a session.
Once the teacher arrives, your full class duration (30, 45, or 60 minutes) will always be given — no time is deducted for teacher delays.
📍 Changing Class Location
If you wish to change your class location, please inform us when confirming your class.
Otherwise, the teacher will proceed to the usual address on record.
No, once you contact us, we will inform you of our available class times that best suit your needs. Once everything is agreed upon, you will receive a payment link to complete the transaction, making your chosen package valid.
The duration of the classes depends on the package you have chosen, we have the option of 30 minutes, 45 minutes, and one-hour classes. You may also choose to take more than one class on the same day.
As for the class time, we recommend the following: for children from 4 to 6 years old, 30 minutes would be enough. For children from 7 years old and up, 45 minutes. For teenagers and adults, we recommend 45 minutes or an hour. Please note that all classes are one-to-one, of course, some 6-year-old students can receive longer classes. It is recommended that after the trial lesson always consult with the teacher for a more accurate analysis of your case.
The classes we offer will be only individual and personalized according to the needs and objectives of each student. More than one student shouldn't be present in the classes, since the time for each of them would be shortened, and the progress of both could be slowed down.
In the trial class, the teacher will make an introduction to the instrument, as well as some theoretical terms of music, and at the end of the class, the student will be able to play a small piece with the help of the teacher. In addition, he will ask a series of questions and exercises to the student to determine: the objectives of the student, and what books he needs in case the student is not a beginner, it is very important to evaluate the level to which he is to start the classes effectively according to the needs and characteristics of the student.
The trial class is not mandatory, you can book a package without this class, but please note that meeting the teacher, seeing how he or she works, and getting an idea of how the classes would work, could be a compelling reason for the decision to study in our company.

We have a professional team prepared to teach all students who have the motivation to learn, however, there are some cases where we will not be able to attend as we would like, so in these cases we recommend getting the trial class, without buying the package, and the teacher will let you know if you can proceed with a program prepared for the student and what study plan could be effective, in addition to answering all their doubts.
The student has the right to record the classes if they wish, the teacher can also provide the student with videos or even record and deliver the homework in this way. Always keep in mind that communication should be done through our customer service agents, not with private communications between them. It is forbidden to have telephone conversations during the class or any device for personal or non-class purposes. In case the student requires it, this time counts during the class. And in case the teacher presents an emergency and must use the device for personal purposes during the class, he must add this time at the end of the class, so that the student does not lose a minute of his class time.
Online classes have a specific schedule. Each class is private and conducted in real-time with the teacher. Once you book a class, you can only cancel it up to 12 hours in advance, and you have the right to reschedule it within the same timeframe. If a student does not show up, the class will be considered received, and the student will forfeit that session. The teacher will wait for the student for up to 15 minutes after the session begins.
If the teacher is absent, please notify us immediately by sending an email to easylearn@musichomedxb.ae with the subject line "ABSENCE OF THE TEACHER." We will take the necessary measures, and your class will be rescheduled for a day of your choice within the week or at the end of the package.
Yes, at our school you can choose to study remotely. The classes will be equally personalized and individual.

Yes, our goal is for the student to obtain independence, which allows them to read and analyze the pieces to interpret, so theory and music theory are included in the instrument classes. However, if you want theory classes, you can only specify it in the purchase of your package.

In each class, a minimum of music theory is provided so that the student gains enough independence to understand and be able to read musical works from the instrument of his choice. In case you require only theory, ear training or music theory classes, it is recommended to purchase a package for these classes, separate from the instrument classes.

The internal exam is the option offered by our academy to assess your achievements. Through a video that you send us, you will get a note with comments on what you have achieved and what you could improve in the future. Registration for the internal exam is AED 80 per student. However, a student who has participated in a concert can obtain registration for the next internal exam completely free of charge.

International exams are done from home, since you only have to record a video playing 4 to 5 pieces, depending on the type of exam you choose. Once the student has the video ready for his exam and has the approval of the teacher, he must enter the section of exams / international exams and fill out the form in addition to uploading the video. Once it has been reviewed, we will send you the payment link so that you can make it and then you will receive notification that the video has been sent to the international exam platform. Once the certificate is already in the country, we will send it to you.
International exams help to globally recognize the level of the student. In addition, you will be able to earn credits for the University of your choice. You can start taking exams from very beginner degrees to certificate and university levels. The arrival score of the international exam usually varies, often up to 15 days or more. We will always notify you of the follow-up we are committed to doing.

Our school is characterized by a teaching methodology in practice, which is why concerts are considered part of the training of our students. Every 3 months there will be a concert where all students are invited to participate, for a cost of AED 150 for the organization. The concerts are held in The Steinway and Sons Dubai Hall, where students will be able to play a grand piano, acoustic, from the most prestigious brand in the world. Each participant has the right to perform up to 2 to 3 pieces, and up to five companions completely free of charge. At the end of each concert, the student will receive a certificate of participation.
Each concert will be announced one month in advance and students will have 3 weeks to register for the concert, those who wish to participate.
Students who participate in the concert have the right to take the next school internal exam completely free of charge.
